Zavala's Bash: A Celebration of Texas Barbecue and TExas Country Music for a Good Cause

How did Zavala's Bash come to be?

Zavala's Bash is an event that began in 2017 in the backyard of Zavala's Barbecue, a barbecue spot run by the Zavala family in Grand Prairie, Texas. The event was a way of showing appreciation to the family and friends who helped Zavala's Barbecue achieve their dream of opening and running a successful eatery. The event offers Texas barbecue made by the Zavala’s Barbecue and some special guest pitmasters, as well as live music from Texas Country musicians. The event turned into a big fundraiser for Zavala Family Foundation. All profits go to a fund that supports families in the restaurant industry who are impacted by cancer. We raised $17,500 in 2022 , $18,500 in 2023, $34,000 in 2024, and $48,355 in 2025!
